IRISH POSEIDON looked to win with a little bit in hand here last month and can defy a 3lb rise for that course and distance win. The German import didn't appear to be doing that much in front as Laura Bullion came on his wide outside to get within half a length at the line. Connections put cheekpieces on the four-year-old now and there looks more to come from him. It's a competitive contest for the grade with three other recent winners in the field. Solar System, who dead-heated on his first outing for Leanne Breen, could be a danger off a 4lb higher mark. Tham Luang has been runner-up on his last two runs and looks another to consider.
