THE PRIESTS LEAP has already been placed three times over hurdles and this looks a nice opportunity to get his head in front now. He was only a moderate enough third last time at Fairyhouse but that was in a much better race and he looks to have found a weak contest in which to open his account. The Noel Meade-trained Ben Thomson could be a potential improver in this company. He showed some promise when seventh to Full Time Score on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse and with that experience under his belt he is entitled to step forward a bit. Winter Castle, sixth on her debut at Cork, is another who could get closer now.
