COUNT MERIBEL often runs well fresh and could bounce back after pulling up at Doncaster in December. The nine-year-old finished second behind Lostintranslation at Carlisle in November 2019 before finishing sixth in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham, and he is 9lb lower for those efforts now. Better ground will also help him, and Mark Grant's mount is preferred ahead of Dingo Dollar, who was a reliable performer until recently for Alan King and has now switched north to join Sandy Thomson. She'sasupermack can prove best of the remainder.
