A return to racing left-handed is sure to suit KALOOKI, who is also interesting dropping back in trip having campaigned mainly up at three miles this season. He made all to score over 2m6f here in November and could have the pace to repeat the dose over this slightly shorter distance. Espoir De Teillee and Mr Muldoon both tasted success when last seen, with the latter bringing up his third success of the season with that recent Sedgefield romp. Grand Sancy was a touch disappointing when fancied to run well in the Greatwood Gold Cup over course and distance earlier this month and attempts to get back on track, while John Mackie's Barton Knoll led them along from the front for a long way there and can't be underestimated off a 1lb lower mark.
