GLOBAL GIANT was out of his depth in the Saudi Cup last time but that followed a narrow defeat in a valuable contest in Bahrain late last year. The son of Shamardal does not have to carry a penalty for his Listed win at Newbury last year and his form figures on the all-weather are 211, which includes another Listed win at Dundalk back in 2018. Stormy Antarctic was a bit disappointing at the back end of last season but he has had a wind operation over the winter and he did hit the crossbar in a French Group 1 last July. Faylaq finished behind the selection when last seen in July but he may improve for a gelding operation and the application of a first-time tongue-tie.
