Tipps

Forecast:

1.63 SWITCH HITTER (IRE); 2.25 OSCAR ROSE (IRE); 2.50 PRINCE ESCALUS (IRE); 8.00 SIR VALENTINE (GER).

Preview:

SWITCH HITTER showed a really good attitude when knuckling down to land his second course-and-distance success of the season last month and he could be the answer once again here, with Angus Cheleda's 7lb claim wiping out the 5lb rise he was handed for that victory over the prolific Breffniboy. Oscar Rose never spotted a rival when sauntering to a mares' chase win here in November. She reverts to hurdles for her return to the track and will relish conditions, while Prince Escalus claimed the scalp of a useful rival at Market Rasen recently and can't be ignored.
