Potential gets the vote over experience in this competitive handicap, as the unexposed IMAGINE FREEDOM is preferred to the admirable Storm Melody, who has won two of his last three. The selection, however, could be thrown in on handicap debut with the drop in trip appearing to be a shrewd move. Course specialist Al Asef is another to note despite the wide draw, as well as Dylan's Lad who was narrowly denied at Thirsk most recently.

Ishmail Mohammed and Ray Dawson have developed quite the partnership this season and NOMASEE could be another smart horse for them to go to war with. Despite giving 4lb and upwards to his rivals, the selection can continue his progression with a second straight C&D victory. Eshkaal may have been beaten a long way on debut at Leicester but the second and third from that contest have won since, which gives the form a solid look. Fruitloop shaped with promise on his most recent start and must be considered with improvement forthcoming.

Plenty of these have claims but none more so than EEVILYNN DREW, who returned to winning ways over 7f at Chelmsford a few weeks ago. A 3lb rise for that win appears to be fair and the step up in trip should not be a problem. Castle Quarter is another last-time winner to consider, while Act Naturally and Cliffcake are the pick of the remainder.

Pretty Sweet got off the mark in good style at Bath last time and is interesting on her all-weather debut, while Arcadian Nights won well over a furlong shorter here two starts ago and also merits respect.

Evidently at home on an artificial surface, she is taken to defy top weight in this. Join Forces has some excellent form at Kempton to her name and is of interest in this, while Verreaux Eagle was beaten less than a length into third over track and trip last time so cannot be underestimated off the same mark in this.
