Running on well that day, the step up in trip looks ideal and any further improvement should see another success. The Dawn Man is weighted to go close, and Krujers Girl is a consistent mare sure to get involved as well.

Martin Keighley has his horses in rude health and will be looking for a third successive win from DREAMSUNDERMYFEET, who has recorded wide-margin victories here, over this trip and over an extended 3m, both over hurdles. He makes his debut over fences now but is sure to have been well schooled and may have even more to offer. Generation Gap tries blinkers and could well improve for the headgear, while Percussion is also interesting switched to the larger obstacles.

Yeavering Belle ran well on her chasing debut when second at Worcester and should have learned plenty, making her the biggest danger to ACTIVIAL. Third at Doncaster and Ascot earlier this year, he has been in France over hurdles since but has been found a race he can win back over fences by trainer Tom George.

Chance A Tune won at Fontwell before a Uttoxeter fourth and won't be far away, with Jordan Nailor's 3lb claim a bonus, but BYZANTINE EMPIRE looks the one to beat. A C&D winner in May, he was then second at Newton Abbot in a handicap and should appreciate the return to novice company.
