DILLIAN showed some encouraging signs on his debut at Newmarket and shaped like he will appreciate the step to 1m2f, so he could be a big player. The debutant Percy Jones is another to note, he has an attractive middle-distance pedigree as he is by Derby winner Sir Percy and is related to some classy individuals, so it would be no surprise to see him involved as well. Auntie Margaret took a big step forward from her debut at Haydock and she also looks a contender with further improvement likely.

He now steps into handicap company and could be hard to beat if he takes another step forward, while Fiftyshadesaresdev is another making his handicap debut and he could be involved as well if he can build on his run at Pontefract. Lethal Levi is also one for the shortlist as he has been in the frame on each of his seven career starts, so another bold show looks likely.

A winner over hurdles and fences, he gets in here off a mark of 62 and that may be lenient.

Motawaazy has won his last three starts, including his most recent outing over course and distance last month, but needs a career best off 3lb higher, leaving FAUVETTE topping the shortlist. She won a similar race very easily at Yarmouth, and another 5lb may not stop the grey following up here, with the softer ground a bonus.
