GEE REX has been placed in a couple of strong Leopardstown maiden hurdles and should be good enough to open his jumping account here. The Requinto gelding is a decent sort on the Flat and won four times for Joseph O'Brien before being claimed by current connections. He has shown up well since switching to jumping and either of his runner-up efforts would be good enough to land this. Hammersmith has a mark of 118 which would be good enough to win a lot of summer maiden hurdles. He chased home a classy sort in Bapaume in a conditions contest at Cork last time and looks the obvious danger to the selection back in a maiden. Clondaw Bertie is unexposed and could improve. He looked like being placed when falling at Fairyhouse in November and makes his first outing since. Given that he won a point-to-point he may need further than this in time.

LISTENHERETOMEJACK met some traffic problems before staying on to finish fourth at Cork last month and there looks another race in him. The Eoin Doyle-trained gelding has run a couple of solid races now since winning at Thurles last November and despite a 2lb rise for his latest effort he can strike again. Seangoell is another who comes here in fine form and looks an obvious threat. The Gold Well mare was no match for That's Lifebuoy at Limerick last time having won there previously. Dropping back in trip would be a slight concern for her. Big Debates is interesting off a 6lb lower mark back over timber and the market could prove the best guide to his chances.

This looks a good opportunity to gain a deserved win with CHAMPAGNE SPARKLES. The French-bred has been knocking on the door in some decent maiden hurdles and it was another solid effort last time when he chased home Now Where Or When at Fairyhouse. A similar performance should be enough to score now. Eat The Book was also runner-up last time out when chasing home New Society at Fairyhouse. He was a big price then and it was a significant step forward from his previous form. If he can back that up he has to be a danger now. Fissa switches back to jumping having run in a couple of bumpers. He was a promising third over timber on his debut at Punchestown and has to be given a shout now in a less competitive looking event.

BROSNA ROCCO may be good enough to win this off top weight. The Shirocco mare was staying on when fourth over a slightly shorter trip at Tramore last time and off just a pound higher mark she looks capable of striking again here having won at that same track back in December. Get Phar has been placed on his last two outings and although beaten a long way last time in Limerick he has to be given a chance in this company. Johanna Yeats ran a nice race here on her return last month and stepping up in trip now should suit. She could get involved at the business end.

DIFFERENT BEAT showed good battling qualities when winning here last month and can follow up. Connections feared the trip may have been a bit short then and it was to her credit that she got the job done. Stepping up almost half a mile now could bring about further improvement. Ask Dee was also a winner last time out, springing an 80/1 shock at Kilbeggan. That was a significant improvement on her previous form and it will be interesting to see if she can back it up off an 8lb higher mark now. Philip Rothwell has his string in fine form and Galon De Vauzelle is another that has to come into calculations after a decent run to finish placed at Limerick just over a fortnight ago.

Emmet Mullins' charge has had three runs over the larger obstacles and this looks a slightly easier opportunity now. He was beaten a fair way when third at Cork last month but has shown enough to give him the winning of a race of this standard. Arvico Bleu sets the standard with an official mark of 128. He has been well beaten in a couple of strong handicaps on his last two outings but should be a player in this company. MR CAPLAN was runner-up on his debut at Ayr back in October 2019 and may be able to score here on his return from an absence. That form looks solid enough with the winner placed again since and this Fame And Glory gelding is sure to be fit and ready despite being off the track for 554 days. September Lady gave some trouble before the start on her debut at Limerick but shaped with promise in the race itself, finishing fourth to Rebel Rose. With that experience under her belt she could be a big player now. Donthavetime finished a moderate enough third when last seen at Limerick in December but that was on heavy ground and despite recent rain the going should be considerably better now. She is a potential improver.
