This looks a competitive maiden with some interesting contenders. Raffinity has some good form on dirt and is trying turf for the first time here, so she could be a player, while Bella Principessa has improved for the switch to turf and should be involved. It may pay to take a punt on the debutant Escapewithfriends, though, as she has an attractive pedigree and impressed in her last two workouts.

However, QUICK RETURN has run well in all three of his career starts which were all in higher grades than this, so, if he can overcome his long absence he should be the one to beat. With all due respect to the supporting cast, this is all about two horse - Godolphin's imperious Dubai World Cup winner Mystic Guide and the unbeaten HAPPY SAVER, who marginally came out on top when the pair tangled in a Grade 1 event over this C&D in the autumn. It could go either way, but the Godolphin colt's globe-trotting exertions can't have helped his cause.
