KARKIYNA'S experience can help her make the breakthrough. This daughter of Caravaggio finished fourth in decent fillies' maidens at this track and at Leopardstown in the summer. She improved to come home second over course and distance in first-time cheekpieces last month. That run in particular gives her solid claims from a high draw. Brostaigh brings a rating of 86 to the contest. She is a Dundalk barrier trial winner who has been placed on turf at Navan and Down Royal. She was far from outclassed when finishing mid-division in Listed company at Dundalk. Mikey Sheehy's 5lb claim is a bonus. Siesta Beach is another barrier trial winner. She was demoted from second to third when last seen in a big field at Navan. That form got a major boost when the horse promoted to second delivered at the Curragh on Thursday. This Oasis Dream filly should be right on the premises.

A chance is taken on LUCKY SAN JORE off a break. Jessica Harrington's Lope De Vega colt holds an Irish 2,000 Guineas entry and began his career with an unplaced effort at the Curragh in June. He got upset in the stalls before attempting to make all over seven furlongs. He was collared in the final furlong so dropping back in trip could pay off at this stage of his career. Dermot Weld introduces Pearle D'or who is related to plenty of winners. He is likely to be a contender. El Magnifique should improve for an opening third place at Bellewstown when only beaten by a length. His stablemate Gun Dog could show more in first-time blinkers and on better ground than when in rear at Cork. Kirsapp was found to be slightly lame after being a beaten favourite over course and distance in May. He wasn't at his best last week in Navan but could bounce back.

The form of CORPORAL VIOLETTE's runner-up berth on debut over course and distance looks very solid. She put in her best work in the final furlong to get to within a neck of the winner. The horses behind her in third and fourth came out and won on their next starts. Lady Of Inishfree was an eye-catching fourth at 28/1 in Listed company over Irish Champions Weekend. That brings her right into contention. Eurocrat was the horse that was all out to beat Corporal Violette, so has to be considered off the same weights again. That was his third outing so he is progressing well. His stablemate Tut Tut landed a premier nursery in Listowel last month. She has two victories in the book and is proven over further if this turns into a battle. Shane Foley takes the ride and she is a big player. Butterfly Island and Giselles Ausie in particular are others with claims in a very competitive race.

She has been placed three times including in Group One company since winning on debut at Leopardstown in June last year. She made up a vast amount of ground when last seen in a fast-finishing third in a Listed race over this trip at Cork. Awhile represents powerful connections and is pitched into this on the back of a fillies' maiden success in Fairyhouse when eased close home. She could be anything and the market should be informative. Emaniya's runner-up spot in a Group 3 at Gowran Park puts her in contention. Colin Keane gets the leg up again. EVERGREEN AND RED is more than capable of having a say towards the bottom of the weights. He won at Punchestown last month and was a close fourth when trying to defy the mandatory 6lb penalty four days later at Gowran Park. He has been freshened up since then and has an each-way chance. Sequoiaspirit is hunting a four-timer and drops back in trip. He has had a break since the start of August so a 6lb rise may not stop him going in again. He has been well placed on his winning spree and should give Conor Clarke a good spin. Miss Florentine is thriving and gets on well with jockey Robert Whearty. She has won her last two races by half a length and has gone up 7lb in the weights. This is a new trip for her, though. Silent Performance enjoyed this distance when delivering in Down Royal and a 3lb rise doesn't look excessive.

ADMIRAL D has a shot at ruling with 10lb-claimer Jake Coen lessening his burden. It is worth noting that this Listowel maiden winner was beaten just over six lengths into mid-division of the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. He has had a break since disappointing at the Curragh in July. It's Snowing could show up well for Jessica Harrington and Shane Foley. She got off the mark on her penultimate start in Dundalk before finishing a fair third at Fairyhouse. That run can be viewed in a better light after the fourth home won a nursery in Navan. Pulse Of Poppy has shown speed off the front in both starts. She came in third at Navan behind the useful Giselles Ausie (who runs in the 2.15 race) and then fourth in Dundalk. She is drawn to attack from stall one. Messa Concertata is another to consider.

The handicapper has definitely given NOT NOW ZEB a chance and he is more than capable of popping up at a price. He hasn't been beaten far in his last three starts and is a former course winner. Blairmayne is high in the weights but is well versed in competitive sprints. Natalia Lupini's charge earned this mark of 87 after winning over course and distance a couple of runs back. This is a track he goes particularly well at and he should be in the firing line. Gegenpressing got closer in his last two starts and has a chance. Sounds Of Spring got a turn in Navan for which the handicapper gave him 8lb. He relishes soft ground and it may not be deep enough for him here. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Texas Rock do damage off a mark of 78.

ZAWARA seemed to improve when a close fourth at Leopardstown on Champions Weekend and might turn placings with Thunder Kiss (which is badly drawn in 16) and win. ZAWARA was always capable but could be a late-developer as her Leopardstown run was a fine effort and meets Thunder Kiss 2lbs better today, for a 0.19L defeat. Thunder Kiss is thoroughly consistent and capable and can be depended upon to give her usual running, and seems ground-versatile. Barrington Court (in stall 15) won this race last year and while she ran well when fourth in a Group 3 at the Curragh in August, missed her St Leger target due to unsuitable going and, again today, could encounter unsuitable ground, as she has a preference for heavy. Flor De La Luna is a quirky type who hasn't run since May but did show useful form at Cork in April. High Heels has been running in some smart races and has some place claims.
