DECIMATION has been runner-up on his three outings to date and deserves to get his head in front now. He has run into some smart sorts, pushing Queens Brook close on his debut and chasing home Wide Receiver at Leopardstown on his most recent start. This looks a solid enough maiden hurdle but his form stands out. Irish Poseidon, a hat-trick scorer at Dundalk, shaped with promise on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day and with that run under his belt, could play a big part now. It wasn't a bad maiden hurdle in which Cavallino was third in at Tramore and he has to be respected given his connections.

ALICE O'BYRNE may be able to turn the tables on Moonlight Glory here on revised terms. She went down by half a length to that rival at Limerick last time. The selection was going better down to the second-last but was a touch slow at that flight. Moonlight Glory grabbed the lead before the last and held her late on. Alice O'Byrne is 5lb better off on ratings, while Gearoid Brouder has had his claim reduced since so the selection is now half a stone better off. The consistent Amor Verdadero looks place material after a decent effort to finish third to Klassy Kay at Punchestown recently.

ON EAGLES WINGS was a good winner on his hurdling debut at Naas and doesn't look harshly treated in this. A mark of 125 looks fair enough as he beat a decent field when scoring on his first outing over timber. Young Harry Swan showed a cool head on him then and his 7lb claim leaves him on a nice weight. Global Equity is another that might be nicely treated off a mark of 121. She has some smart form in mares' races and bumped into a decent filly in Roseys Hollow at Fairyhouse last time. US challenger Baltimore Bucko ran well when finishing third at Limerick late last month and looks another that has to come into calculations.

ITSALONGLONGROAD is a couple of pounds wrong at the weights here but comes into the race in winning form and may be able to follow up his win at Tramore on New Year's Day. A mark of 112 looks lenient enough for the Lawman gelding, who has won twice over fences and is a versatile sort having also shown good form on the all-weather this winter. The three at the top of the weights were all well held in a similar event for higher-grade performers at Limerick late last month. Dis Donc fared best that day, finishing fourth, and is entitled to play a big part in this company. Arahecan, who was fifth then, has Rachael Blackmore back on board now and is another to consider.

Not a strong contest and GREENWAY MACHINE may be worth a shot after showing a good bit more on his most recent outing at Punchestown. The Robin Des Pres gelding was still bang in contention, disputing the lead, when falling two from home nine days ago and he looks capable of being competitive off his current mark of 87. Flynsini finished sixth behind the in-form Kristian Goingwel in that Punchestown race and looks another to consider in this company. Hilltop Supreme comes into this in winning form so has to be respected. He does, however, race off a mark 10lb higher than the one he won off over hurdles a fortnight ago at Fairyhouse.

It looked like a decent bumper in which CHAMPAGNE SPARKLES was third on his debut at Punchestown and with natural improvement, he looks the one to beat now. The form of that race has been boosted since, with the fourth-placed Blazing Khal scoring at Limerick. Fissa was third over course and distance here last month and he looks an obvious danger, with Patrick Mullins an eyecatching booking now. Now Where Or When has been placed twice over hurdles, in decent looking maidens, and is another that has to be respected. He returns from a significant absence, though, making his first start since finishing third here last March.
