PASSIONAL has been such a model of consistency since joining Stuart Williams and gets on particularly well with Marco Ghiani. He so nearly supplemented a Chelmsford success over this track and trip and can be virtually guaranteed to give his all once more. Qaaraat and Spirit Power were hot on his heels in that contest, and the former did beat Passional at Wolverhampton in November. Drakefell was just denied in a C&D seller, but will find this harder.

HIGH SECURITY showed a decent level form for James Tate, culminating in a Bath second in October. That prompted Nigel Tinkler to fork out 22,000gns for him shortly after and if he can run to his official rating of 75, he will be tough to beat. Acquisitor has experience on his side and has recently undergone wind surgery but a couple of unknown quantities may turn out to the main dangers, namely newcomer Did She Though and French import Kenyx.

Harlow enjoyed a decent winter plying his trade in handicaps, but he couldn't capitalise on the drop to claiming company at Lingfield on Friday. There will be plenty who keep the faith but he is passed over in favour of NOW CHILDREN, who boasts the highest official figure of this lot and although he was beaten by lower-rated rivals in a claimer here two starts back, that came over an unsuitable 1m. Loch Ness Monster also enters the equation.

True Romance remains nicely treated on the level but he has been on the sidelines for more than a year, whereas STRAIGHT ASH is battle-hardened from a busy start to 2021 and this C&D seems to get the best out of him. Fortultous returns to Chelsea Banham following a profitable stint with Tony Carroll, while Dreadnoughtus has a Chelmsford failure to atone for and Sezina isn't out of it either.

Despite tackling Fibresand for the first time, Jewel Maker was able to maintain the momentum he built up at Newcastle when striking over C&D. A 4lb rise is fair but another chance is still given to STAR OF ST JAMES, who failed in his bid for a track-and-trip hat-trick but was forced to make his own running there. There is every chance that Daafr will take the field along this time and he will relish the return to this venue so is also considered.

Bond Angel produced the latest in a string of solid performances in defeat when third over a mile here on Saturday, although this distance is as short as she wants nowadays and she may have to settle for another supporting role. Custard The Dragon will pop up before too long, probably at this circuit, but LAST DATE has perhaps the most scope for improvement and his placed efforts here and at Chelmsford have suggested that his turn is near.

EVERKYLLACHY is untried on the Fibresand, but she escapes a penalty for last week's triumph in an apprentices' event at Lingfield so she gets the vote.
