KAPSIZE is clearly the one to beat having returned to winning ways over 2m at Hexham a couple of weeks ago and a 5lb rise for that success appears to be fair. Ardbruce hit the crossbar when last seen at Stratford in May and he should be thereabouts once again, while Infinite Sun and Crackle Lyn Rosie are the pick of the remaining field.

Mick Pastor got off the mark over fences when his sole rival fell four from home in a novice chase at Worcester last time and he should go very well once again. That said, he may struggle to give 6lb to COURTANDBOULD, who was progressive over hurdles last summer and he is entitled to improve for his recent comeback run. Earth Spirit has not shown the required ability to win a race of this nature and will probably struggle if the aforementioned pair complete the course.

MASTER ARTIST wasn't a bad handicap hurdler for John Kiely in Ireland, and won at Cork as recently as April. His official mark of 117 probably flatters him, but new trainer Henry Oliver has opted to start him off at a low level and the decision can be rewarded. Guns For Hire has shown a little bit of ability in handicap company and could be the one to chase the selection home, although the weight Dolly McQueen receives brings her into the equation.

Dave And Bernie's lacklustre Bangor display was too bad to be true and he could bounce back. Miss Farage bled at Kempton, while Breaking Waves usually runs his race and should be thereabouts.

DREAMSUNDERMYFEET absolutely hosed up in a conditionals' event over two and a half miles here last week and Martin Keighley is wise to get him out again before the handicapper takes revenge, with the six-year-old escaping a penalty. He certainly wasn't stopping at the business end, so the extra yardage shouldn't bother him. Getaway Bay proved his stamina when successful over the best part of three miles at Uttoxeter. He looks the chief threat, although Bob Pebble was a fair fourth behind him and could close the gap slightly.
