FINGAL'S HILL beat a highly-regarded Nicky Henderson-trained horse in a NH Flat race at Catterick in November and could have more to offer for Peter Atkinson. The five-year-old only cost 7,000 euros as a three-year-old, but showed a nice attitude and can take this before switching to obstacles. Grand Du Nord was fourth in a good bumper on the turf here in November and merits respect, while All Shook Up and Hackberry could prove best of the remainder.

THE RESDEV WAY is on a losing run of 22, but he was rated 81 at his peak on the level and shaped with promise when third in that sphere at Southwell a few weeks ago. Micky Hammond's eight-year-old might have a bit too much pace for Quest For Life, who returned from a 555-day absence to spring a hurdling surprise over this trip at Musselburgh. Derrick D'Anjou ran well when fourth in this format here last time and won't mind going up in distance.

The Alistair Whillans-trained gelding has won three times over hurdles over shorter distances than this, and could be the answer to this puzzle. King D'Argent fell when well fancied at Newbury but can go close for an in-form yard. Loughermore is another worth taking seriously.

Ambassador has looked better since switching to hurdles for Dan Skelton and the form of his third at Kempton was given a boost last weekend when the runner-up won a Listed contest at Doncaster. That being said, it will take a good one to account for MOON KING, who was rated as high as 94 on the Flat when with Ralph Beckett and struck over hurdles for Charlie Longsdon at Musselburgh just before Christmas. Get Real is another worth considering.

Off The Hook has had a wind operation ahead of her first start for Dan Skelton and is worth a market check, and Storm Goddess can't be dismissed lightly either.
