This may go the way of the unexposed hurdler OVERHAUGH STREET, who attracted some market support when finishing third on his sole run over obstacles at Hereford just over a year ago. Fit from the Flat, the eight-year-old can get the better of Whitlock, who is well treated on these terms, while Garrison Commander showed more at Leicester last time and looks next best.

The J P McManus-owned HALDON HILL shaped well on his return to action at Ffos Las last month, closing out his race in taking fashion having been outpaced as things developed. Down in grade and up in trip, the gelded son of Mahler looks capable of building on that run and is favoured ahead of the Colin Tizzard-trained Ambion Hill, who performed better than the result would suggest at Exeter on his latest outing. Jobesgreen Lad made an encouraging start over fences last time and is also worth noting.

Course-and-distance winner MIRANDA produced a solid effort when finishing second in a Listed event at Wetherby on her reappearance in October and the daughter of Camelot is fancied to take advantage of a drop in class. The front-running See The Sea looked to go off too fast at Kempton on her latest start and better is expected this time, while the Nicky Henderson-trained Progressive eases in grade and is another to consider.

SWITCH HITTER made a pleasing start to his chasing career when beating Outonpatrol at Hereford. He is entitled to come on for that run, and with improvement on the cards he looks the one to beat in this contest. Forgot To Ask has finished second in two strong-looking affairs at Wincanton and Ludlow on his last two outings, and he looks a big player as well, while Reve is another to note. He disappointed last time, but a reproduction of his win at Ludlow prior to that run would make him dangerous.

It's fair to say that SON OF CAMAS has yet to live up to the promise of his third in the 2020 Tolworth Hurdle, but he has kept smart company and his comeback fourth at Sandown wasn't bad. He was quite keen so the drop from 2m4f may suit and he can get his career back on track. Golden Taipan is 8lb worse off with Raya Time for beating him convincingly over C&D, since when he has finished third of four off this mark at Wincanton. Wild Max struggled in some top handicap hurdles and now goes chasing.

NELSONS ROCK showed a modicum of ability in novice company but as a winning pointer, he was always going to come into his own when upped to this sort of distance and that's just what happened on his handicap debut at Taunton. He justified favouritism with something up his sleeve under Harry Kimber, and a 4lb rise doesn't exactly appear harsh. The form of Canastero's Stratford success has worked out so he looks the primary threat, although Steinkraus arrives in decent form.

Nicky Henderson has a good record with his bumper runners here so Hyland, who is related to French winners, is sure to prove popular on debut. Third Street also hails from a good family and cost 50,000 euros, but the vote goes to FANCY STUFF. The daughter of Presenting fetched 80,000 pounds after making a successful debut between the flags in Ireland back in the spring, and she gets a handy weight allowance.
