WORD HAS IT got off the mark at the fourth time of asking over timber when building on a couple of placed efforts at Carlisle, and this appears an excellent opportunity for Donald McCain's gelding to back that effort up under a penalty. Wicked West had outrun his 100/1 price when taking a last-flight fall at Newcastle on his hurdling debut and he appears the most obvious threat, although Cailin Dearg might improve from her recent fifth at Wetherby.
