Preview:

Champagne Rhythm has finished on the podium over track and trip in his last three outings and is likely to be thereabouts at the finish. However, it'll be interesting to see if a wind operation returns PARIS DIXIE to her best here. She was a touch disappointing in a competitive Newbury event last time, but before that offered plenty of encouragement when second over course and distance on her hurdles bow. The winner of that contest went on to place in a Grade 2 next time to give the form a decent look. Kingsplace has plenty of experience to call on and is respected, with Strike Hollow and Gulliver Collonges others with possibilities.

EAMON AN CNOIC took advantage of a lenient hurdles rating when relishing the testing ground at Sandown last week and is backed to add to that facile success having escaped a penalty with that victory coming in a conditional jockeys' event. That leaves David Pipe's 10-year-old 11lb well-in and he has a good record at this venue. Grumpy Charley made it back-to-back course-and-distance victories earlier this month and has to be respected on his handicap bow. Before that he finished fifth in a strong looking Newbury contest and also chased home Grade 2-winner Admirel at Haydock earlier this season. Repetitio's best could be enough to see him claim the final spot on the podium.

Silver In Disguise romped to an easy 21-length win on his chasing bow at Catterick earlier this month but the handicapper has had his say and he is now rated 15lb higher. Therefore, a chance is taken on SUPREME ESCAPE, who was disappointing when upped to three miles last time, but showed plenty of guts when scoring over course and distance before that. The return to this venue in first-time cheekpieces can see him back to his best, with the second in that contest giving the form a solid look since. Chasing newcomers Pride Of Lecale and Keep Rolling are others to consider.
