GOOD RISK AT ALL was successful in Listed bumpers on his last two starts, winning with plenty in hand at Newbury most recently in February, and the five-year-old looks the most appealing proposition on his hurdling debut. Exmoor Express travelled well when landing a bumper at this track in April and is respected, while the Philip Hobbs-trained newcomer Mister Marbles is another worth noting.

The Colin Tizzard-trained EARL OF WISDOM caught the eye making late headway in a novice event at Wincanton when last seen in February and, with the step up in trip expected to suit, the six-year-old looks set for a big run on his handicap debut. Shutupshirley produced a solid effort when runner-up on his first run in a handicap at Taunton in March and he should make a bold bid, while Representing Bob has been successful over fences on his last two outings and is also worthy of respect.

Plenty put up solid cases in this event but a narrow preference is for BALLYBREEN, whose impressive winning performance at Fontwell on his penultimate outing in January suggested that he has the talent to win races off a mark of 105. Cushuish posted some of her best efforts towards the end of last season and may prove next best, while On Call arrives on the back of a course-and-distance win last month and is another to consider.

A tentative vote goes to COQUELICOT, who had a nice pipe-opener on the Flat last week at Nottingham. Anthony Honeyball's mare has yet to confirm the promise she displayed when winning a Listed bumper at Kempton in March 2020, but the step up in trip could unlock improvement on her handicap debut. A winner at Ludlow on her penultimate outing, Misty Bloom has to be of interest, while Chloe's Court also makes the shortlist.

A difficult puzzle to solve with plenty of these getting their chase careers underway, including BRAVE SEASCA, who was a smart winner at Huntingdon when last seen in February. Venetia Williams knows how to ready one first time and the son of Brave Mansonnien should be primed for his chasing bow. Brewers Project was an impressive winner over hurdles here in April, while Not Available can put his chasing experience to good use. Witness Protection improved from first to second start over the larger obstacles and he also warrants consideration.

Camdonian is an interesting newcomer for the Skelton's, having cost 40,000 euro in 2019, and the five-year-old is worthy of a market inspection. Coachman was an easy point-to-point winner at Tipperary and is another to note, but it may be worth taking a chance on MUMBO JUMBO. Second in a Newbury bumper when staying on over two miles, he has had wind surgery since and looks the sort to do even better over hurdles this season.
