With The Moonlight was well supported ahead of her debut at Newmarket but ran too green and could only manage fourth. She should have learnt plenty from that experience and can go close here, but NOONIE brings the best form to the table and is taken to go one better than her three-quarters of a length second at Carlisle. Marco Botti's newcomer La Duchesse might prove best of the remaining trio.

The vote, however, goes to GIVEIT SOME ORANGE, who made a debut full of promise when runner-up over this trip at Brighton.

It could pay to side with EXCELLENT GEORGE in what looks a tricky puzzle for punters to solve. He is a three-time C&D winner and bounced back to form when a staying-on fourth at Yarmouth last time (may have finished closer but for interference). Busby outran massive odds over 1m at Kempton latest and is an interesting player back sprinting, while Tomshalfbrother has every chance if producing his best.
