The Anjaal gelding has performed well for a couple of third placings since his attentions were turned to nursery company at this venue. A Phoenix Thoroughbred filly, Ablah, led him home last time, and there might not be anything as progressive among the opposition here. The selection's stable companion, Dreams Delivered, is not without a chance either, and similar sentiments apply to quite a few of them. With six of the runners fresh out of maiden company, the potential is surely there for a 'springer' or two in the market. Off an initial rating of 66, Al Rafiq might improve for the addition of a visor. He'll certainly need to.
