    John Kirkup goes well at this time of year and looked better than ever in victory at Pontefract last month, but he hasn't won off a mark this high since his nursery days, and perhaps it is worth taking a chance on recent Musselburgh runner-up FOX HILL. Eric Alston's filly ran a blinder there, just being denied in a close finish, and could go one better here on ground that she is expected to enjoy. Lincoln Park narrowly lost out at Haydock on stable debut for Tom Dascombe recently and is also noted.
