    Almodovar commands plenty of respect on these terms as he's a course winner and was competing at Group 1 level when last sighted. In view of his 906-day absence, however, he's passed over on his first start for Ed Walker, with hat-trick seeker JOHAN getting the vote instead. Mick Channon's three-year-old receives a weight-for-age allowance from the first-named as well as Khuzaam, who is another highly-rated rival returning from a break. Kinross hasn't gone on as hoped since finishing sixth in the 2000 Guineas but cannot be ruled out at this level.
