    THE GLANCING QUEEN, fifth in a red-hot renewal of the Champion Bumper in 2019 before landing Grade 2 glory in Aintree's Mares' equivalent, returned for a second crack at that Cheltenham Festival Grade 1 in the spring, finishing 8th. That was a respectable effort following a disrupted campaign and it is now full steam ahead for a complete season over hurdles. The pick of Alan King's pair sets the standard here and could be tough to beat, with the move up in trip likely to suit. Alpha Carinae, who accounted for Global Harmony (third) at Perth on her penultimate start, lost her unbeaten record when second at Market Rasen last time, but rates as the most likely danger now tried in a tongue-tie. A step up in distance could suit point-to-point winner Drumlee Getaway, who was outpaced over 2m1f in an Aintree bumper won by recent Cheltenham scorer Elle Est Belle, while Bourbon Beauty could challenge for a spot on the podium.
