    NEWBOLT contested a tough handicap at Newbury on his return to turf last month and the ease in grade is likely to bring about an improved effort from Ralph Beckett's gelding. Rains Of Castamere's winning run on the level came to an end when third at Nottingham earlier in the month but he remains capable of further improvement, while Enigmatic can step forward from his return to action at Ascot.
