4 Louisiana met very tough opponents last season and was splendid when she won in 1.12,1 in a Jarlsberg GP elimination heat. If the horse handles the ice track she should have a good chance.

7 Brienne of Tarth made her debut for a new trainer in the last run. Gave up on the home stretch but should be improved by that race.

8 Thai Apollo scored four wins last year and was quite consistent. Is good enough to win this but needs some racing luck.

6 Standpoint's Joker put in a good effort in the seasonal debut and comes from a nice performance under the saddle. Challenger with the right journey.
