    GUNSIGHT RIDGE produced an encouraging display in a strong-looking affair at Aintree on his first start over fences, shaping like he will appreciate the step up to this trip, and he could be the one to beat. Longshanks also showed promise on his chasing debut when third at Stratford, while the lightly-raced L'Homme Presse is another to note. He has only raced four times over hurdles and could improve now he tackles the larger obstacles for the first time.
