The seven-year-old can continue on the upward curve and get the better of the Charlie Longsdon-trained The Mighty Arc, who justified market support when scoring at Worcester three weeks ago. Sounds Russian made an encouraging start over the larger obstacles when finishing fourth at this track last month and also makes the shortlist.
