The Grey Falco boasts a consistent level of form in three hurdle outings and as he was in front of the selection last time, he appears the most likely threat. ROLLERRULER returned to form when second on his latest outing at Carlisle in December and this flatter track could yield further progression from Maurice Barnes' gelding on his fifth start over fences. Relkadam is unlikely to be inconvenienced by the drop back in distance and he is expected to be in the mix along with Snougar, who was still in contention when unseating his rider at Catterick earlier in the month.

Duhallow Tornado hit the crossbar in a similar event at Catterick a week ago and he should be thereabouts once again. Others to consider are Itstimeforapint, Stellar Notion and Things Change.

Milans Edge was purchased for 40,000 pounds after winning her only start between the flags last year and she should go well on her Rules debut. The rest do not inspire much confidence, but Shighness is arguably the pick of them.
