All of these have claims but marginal preference is for THE MULCAIR, who accounted for a decent rival when winning impressively on his Rules debut over hurdles at Southwell a year ago. The six-year-old then disappointed in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham but something was clearly amiss with him on that occasion and he may benefit from a wind op in recent months. Geordie B is entitled to improve for his recent comeback run at Carlisle, while Born By The Sea should put his jumping experience to good use.
