Far Hope is a decent sort and won't be far away in this field after her Nottingham second, where the lack of early pace saw her pulling too hard. She could be the one to serve it up to Roger Varian's unbeaten BASHOSH, a winner at Leicester and Doncaster and making his handicap debut here. Slowly away last time, he can't afford to make that mistake in this company but is open to plenty of further improvement. Calcutta Cup has been gelded over the winter and look interesting if handling this faster ground.
