GALA DE CORTON displayed some promise in bumpers last season, most notably when third at Ludlow, and the step up in trip on his hurdles debut promises to bring about a fair amount of improvement. Zafar has won twice during the summer at Uttoxeter and Kelso, getting the better of Cardboard Gangster on the latter occasion, but there is every chance that form could be reversed as he may struggle under a double penalty.
