REAL STONE has been a little disappointing at Chepstow the last twice but the step back up in distance should suit the Aintree scorer and he can continue Dan Skelton's fine run of form this season. Omar Maretti didn't beat much in a maiden over C&D but was impressive nevertheless and warrants plenty of respect, while El Jefe might be staying on for a place.

Stepney Causeway brings good Flat form to the table and ran behind Saturday's Adonis one-two Tritonic and Casa Loupi on his hurdles debut at Ascot, a run he's entitled to have improved for. It's difficult to rule out any of these and only a tentative vote is for HENRY'S JOY, who might not need to improve a great deal on his second-placed effort at Musselburgh in November. The switch to fences seemed to bring about plenty of improvement that day. Caventara has had a break since failing to justify favouritism at Kelso and is noted along with Captain Moirette.

Tim Easterby's RELKADAM romped home by 11 lengths at Wetherby last time and rates the one to beat now turned out swiftly under a penalty. Miss Amelia has been raised 5lb for scoring over 2m at Carlisle two weeks ago and is the one expected to put up most resistance, though there could also be a big run on the cards from Monsieur Co if back to the same sort of form that saw him win off 4lb lower at Kelso in December.
